Buffy Summers is the title character from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, played by Sarah Michelle Gellar. She appeared in every episode of the series, including the unaired pilot, as well as in two episodes of the Buffy spin-off Angel. However, the character was played by Kristy Swanson in the 1992 film that the series is based on.
