[edit] New Caprica Resistance
- Tigh, a Resistance leader, has been taken into custody by the Cylons. His wife Ellen has sex with one of the Brother Cavils in exchange for freeing him.
- Tyrol and Anders bomb a Cylon landing pad as a Raider lands, killing several Cylon agents.
- Roslin is involved with the Resistance.
- Tigh decides to up the ante for the Resistance and utilize suicide bombers. His first recruit is former Viper pilot Tucker "Duck" Clellan, whose wife was killed by the Cylons.
- The Resistance uses one of the communications Raptors to send a transmission, hoping to make contact with Galactica. They succeed, making contact with a regular Raptor sent by the fleet to try to make contact.
- The suicide bomber plan is to have Duck, a New Caprica Police infiltrator, detonate his suicide bomb in the middle of the NCP's graduation ceremony, because Baltar is supposed to be there.
- Baltar decides not to go at the last minute. Gaeta tries to get the information to the Resistance so they can call it off, but doesn't make it in time. Duck detonates the bomb anyway, killing the graduating class.
[edit] Cylon Occupation Authority
- The Cylons discuss their plans. Cavil suggests killing Baltar, but Doral says that at this point the humans wouldn't be likely to care. Caprica-Six refuses to allow it as well.
- The Cylons have established the "New Caprica Police" from the New Caprican population, a secret police force that performs raids and rounds up human prisoners.
- Gaeta, still serving as Baltar's aide, is secretly feeding the Resistance inside information.
[edit] The Fleet
- Galactica and Pegasus are trying to train new pilots with limited success.
- Louanne Katraine has been promoted to commander of Galactica's air group.
- Apollo and Adama are having disagreements about what to do. Adama wants to go back, but Apollo believes they should stay with the 2,000 remaining survivors with the Fleet.
- They have an argument. Adama accuses Apollo of being soft mentally and physically, and tells him to get his men ready to go back or he'll find someone who can.
- Adama and Boomer have reconciled their differences, and Boomer is now one of Adama's confidantes.
- Apollo complains to Dee, now his wife, about Adama calling him soft. Dee agrees, and tells him that he has gone soft, that he's a soldier without a war and that he's lost his edge as a result.
- The Fleet sends a regular Raptor to try and make contact with the Resistance. They finally succeed, and Adama begins final preparations to send a rescue mission.
[edit] Characters
[edit] Starbuck

- (Adama berating Apollo)
Apollo: This whole thing is frakking insane. We got two ships at half-strength, we've got two crews that haven't seen action in a year and a half, and you're acting like the only problem is that they're not working hard enough?
Adama: Have you taken a look at yourself in the mirror lately? You're weak. Soft, mentally and physically.
Apollo: This isn't about me.
Adama: You've had four months to get your act together, and so far all you've been able to frakkin' do is complain and whine about how hard it is. Well, guess what. It's gonna get a lot harder, do you understand me? Now I want you to turn around and get your fat ass outta here. Get your men ready, or I'll find someone who can. Dismissed! - (message from the Fleet to the Resistance)
"Will make contact this freq every twelve hours. Prepare sitrep for command authority.
Have hope.
We're coming for you."
