Happenings

• Following the car crash, Vaughn is lifted out by a group that pose as medics who she alludes. This is investigated by a man named Gordon Dean. He is later revealed to be working with the men that orchestrated the crash and Vaughn's removal.

• Reunited with Sydney, Vaughn finally explains that his real name is André Michaux and his father was a mathematician involved with a top-secret project called Prophet Five. Their mission was to break the code of a 500 year-old document on advanced genetics. After their success, its members were systematically murdered. This is when Vaughn's father changed their identity.

• Prophet Five was started in the 70s by a man named Mueller - the same man who created the device was ordered to secure when they first met. This validated the info Vaughn received from a woman who contacted him named Renée Rienne and had been working with ever since.

• After Vaughn's death, Sydney tracks down Rienne.

• Sydney is revealed to be pregnant.

• Vaughn is shot and hospitalised. He later flatlines and dies.

The Show

• Curiously, all the credits from the main title sequence play again over the beginning of the first act. The only difference is that Michael Vartan's name is absent during the title sequence.

Behind the Scenes

• Jennifer Garner was obviously pregnant during filming and so until the jump 4 months later, efforts were made to hide her stomach.
