Happenings

• When Renée's body is being autopsied, it's discovered that she had inside her a microchip. It has encrypted data with an incomplete algorithm and the name "Andre Micheaux" is etched on it. Vaughn is revealed to have a microchip in him with Renée's name on it. Combined, the data is revealed to be a map pointing to a Hamburg bunker filled with files containing Vaughn's father's research on Prophet Five.

• Sloane tells Peyton that Rambaldi was influenced by a 14th century cleric named Joseph Pinara and that he needs his manuscript to help him decode Page 47. After retrieving it from a private bookseller in Geneva, the clerk alerts to someone unknown that someone is trying to make contact with him. He later goes to a church where he leaves a matchbook where its message is found by Sark.

• It's stated that Sloane's rights at APO have been revoked, but its discovered he put passive surveillance on the office, due to a backdoor access he installed to APO's security system just prior.

• Jack reveals to the APO team that Vaughn is alive.

Characters

• Sloane now sees Nadia, as either a hallucination or apparition.

• Anna gets to Vaughn before Sydney and he appears to fall for her ruse, but is later to have been wise to it fairly early on. Before she can kill him the real Sydney finds them and kills Anna, reuniting with Vaughn for the first time since his death was faked. Sydney then poses as her as she brings the microchip to Peyton.

• Grace is seen decoding a message hidden in a magazine about waiting for contact and calls to place a classified ad for next week.

• This marks the final appearance of Anna Espinosa in the series.

Goofs

• The weight of a clip from a gun is enough that its absence would be obvious. Someone like Anna should know this.
