WESH is the NBC affiliate serving the Daytona Beach/Orlando television market, broadcasting on digital channel 11 while displayed on tuners as virtual 2. Its subcarrier are Me-TV. It operates two translators, one on digital channel 18 in Orange City and the other on digital 24 in Ocala (both retaining virtual channel 2 under PSIP).
WESH signed on in 1956 on analog channel 2 as an NBC station and has maintained that affiliation to this day. WESH was the default NBC affiliate for Gainesville, Florida until 2009, when WNBW/channel 9 signed on as that market's self-contained NBC affiliate.
WESH is one of two "lighthouse stations" in the market hosting the ATSC 3.0 broadcast standard transmitted by two other stations, WKCF/channel 18 (CW) and WUCF/channel 24 (PBS). WESH's ATSC 1.0 signal is transmitted on the subchannel tier of WKCF.
