The Weinstein Company (TWC) was a mini-major film and TV studio founded in 2005 by brothers Harvey and Bob Weinstein. The studio was founded when both brothers left Miramax Films, which they co-founded in 1979. Founded in New York City, TWC is one of the largest mini-major film studios in North America, with the brothers owning 42% of it.
