The Tom and Jerry Show is an animated comedy that aired on Cartoon Network for Season One and the first four episodes of Season Two and is currently being broadcast on Boomerang's video-on-demand (VOD) service from the fifth episode of Season Two onward. This is the newest revival of the Tom and Jerry franchise originated by Hanna-Barbera at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in the 1940s. [1]

As with the classic cartoons in the 1940s and 1950s, no voice actors are cast for Tom and Jerry due to both being non-speaking characters, but archived vocal effects from the classic cartoons are used for both characters (particularly Tom's loud scream when he gets hurt when one of his schemes to catch Jerry backfires).
