The TV IV:Show Spotlight Suggestions

Welcome to the Show Spotlight Suggestion page. Nominate show pages that you feel are of either high enough article quality or prominence that it could benefit from spotlight but might not warrant being featured for a whole month. The shows should have some sort of timely reason for being spotlighted during a particular week such as be currently airing new episodes, beginning a new off-network run, having a new DVD or feature film release, etc. Multiple votes of support for a show will increase its chances of being named article of the week, but otherwise it will remain an "executive decision." If you write a brief description of the show and whatever causes it to warrant a spotlight it is more likely to be chosen.

Tsubasa Chronicle

- Date: April 2007.
- Blurb: Tsubasa Chronicle, known as Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle in Japan, is the anime series based on the CLAMP manga. The manga, published by Kodansha, was adapted to an anime series by the studio Bee Train, once part of Production I.G. The show currently has two series, and is set to air its third in April 2007 on NHK. The first season and feature film is licensed in North America by FUNimation Entertainment. (I'm sure someone else could add more to this regarding the series)
- Rationale: I'll admit the only thing timely about this relates to its third season in Japan. This show is currently not on the air in North America, but Lampbane has been working his/her (not familiar with gender) butt off anyway to build the episode and character pages on the TV IV like crazy. The show page is developed to the point where it's occasionally in the top 50. Since the featured show article usually has some unwritten requirements to be nominated, like having aired, I didn't think this was good enough for a Featured Show nom.
- Support: Hey, thanks for the vote of confidence. Life's gotten in the way so I haven't really been able to keep the guide updated (stopped about 10 episodes into the second season) but I'm trying to close up all the projects I've left hanging (including this show and The Venture Bros.) so I'll get to it shortly. It's worth pointing out that the US release of the first DVD volume is scheduled for May 22 (I didn't know there was supposed to be a third season and can't find any good info on it). -- Lampbane 11:01, 30 April 2007 (EDT)
