Jordan McDeere is the newly appointed president of the National Broadcasting System. Her first day on the job took place on the Monday after the Studio 60 meltdown, but it was her decision to hire Matt Albie and Danny Tripp as executive producers for the series. McDeere has promised to be their greatest ally, but the board at the Tunney Media Group has seen her as a source of embarrassment. She is played by Amanda Peet
