Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders is the third animated made-for-video movie based on the long-running Scooby-Doo series. It was released on DVD October 5, 2000 and soon premiered on Cartoon Network.
The Mystery Machine, with Shaggy at the wheel, loses control and winds up outside a small town where the townsfolk claim aliens have been stealing their cattle. While sleeping, Shaggy and Scooby are whisked aboard a UFO, then they awaken in the middle of nowhere to see Crystal, a photographer and her dog Amber. Crystal and Amber are taken captive by an alien investigation group (who was behind the UFO that captured Shaggy and Scooby) in order to place more a sensing dish as it was on government property.
