Sandra Hess is a Swiss model and actress best known for her roles as Sonya Blade in the film Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, as the villainess Andrea Von Strucker (a.k.a. Viper) in the TV movie adaptation of the Marvel Comic Nick Fury: Agent of Shield, and as "Ice" Jensen on Pensacola: Wings of Gold.

Sandra Hess was born on March 27, 1968 in Zurich, Switzerland. Even as a child, she claims to have been fascinated with the United States of America. She began modelling at 15, but she initially attended the University of Zurich to study law. She left the university and told her mother she was taking a three-month course in Los Angeles to study English, but according to Hess, she thought she might stay longer than three months. When she found success in commercials and modelling, she did just that.

After a handful of film roles (including the 1992 comedy Encino Man), she made her first guest appearance on TV on an episode of SeaQuest DSV. She has since made several other TV guest appearances on shows ranging from Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman to CSI to Commander in Chief. She had a recurring role as Lt. Alexandra "Ice" Jensen on Pensacola: Wings of Gold and appeared in the TV movie Nick Fury: Agent of Shield as the lead villainess.

She lives in Los Angeles with her pets.
