Plot Overview

Don Aguilera is shot by an assassins crossbow. His son, Ramon, seeks vengeance on Don Fuentes whom he believes responsible. The Queen intercepts the assassin when he tries again and realises the Don was not the target, but Dr Helm was by a soldier from the Napoleonic wars seeking vengeance for the death of his brother. Colonel Montoya realises a chance to kill the Queen by sacrificing Dr Helm, by making a deal with the assassin. The Queen has to stop Ramon making a mistake, Dr Helm from being killed and her own death at the hands of Colonel Montoya.

Notes

Second episode to be filmed. Napoleonic war scenes for this and "Destiny" used by both Directors Jon Cassar and Brian Grant.

The swordfight between Dr Helm and Latham, one profanity by each character are edited out in some versions.

Local editing deletes the profanity "Bastard" uttered by Ramon, twice to Don Fuentes.

Behind the Scenes

The final swordfight footage, by Anthony De Longis, was lost on it's way to Canada for processing and editing. It had to be reshot by French swordmaster/stunt co-ordinator Albert Goldberg who was credited in error with the whole episode.
