  • It's revealed that Al was M.I.A. in Vietnam after his A-4 went down in the highlands in 1966. His first wife, Beth, had him declared dead and remarried. He returned and was repatriated in 1973. Beth was the only woman Al ever loved and was the reason his subsequent marriages never worked out.
