- Ryan was the second ranger to be raised evil from a young age. The first being Karone. However, unlike Karone, Ryan became a ranger while he was still evil.
- Ryan was the first ranger--that was not part of the main five--to return for the team-up the following season. Ever since then, every member of the team has returned when two ranger teams meet.
