Plot Overview

After Matthew makes a verbal gaffe on air, Dave and Lisa disagree over how to handle it. Their passionate argument turns to a different kind of passion, and things get awkward.

• This is the first episode where Khandi Alexander and Joe Rogan appear. In the pilot, a character named Rick was the station handyman, and Catherine Duke was played by another actress.

• Joey Buttafuoco: Matthew mispronounces the name of Joey Buttafuoco, who made national headlines in the early 1990's after his teenage lover shot his wife.
