KPLR-TV is a CW-affiliated television station in St. Louis, Missouri. It broadcasts on digital channel 26 and is displayed on digital tuners as virtual channel 11.


KPLR-TV signed on the air April 28, 1959 as an independent station. In 1995, KPLR-TV became a WB affiliate. In 2006, KPLR-TV became a CW affiliate and remains a CW affiliate to this day.

Tribune Broadcasting owned KPLR. Sinclair was in the process of acquiring Tribune's TV station group; to meet the ownership cap requirements, they were selling off six stations. KPLR was sold to Meredith, giving them a duopoly in St. Louis with CBS affiliate KMOV/channel 4. Since then, KPLR was sold to Nexstar, creating a duopoly with ABC affiliate KTVI/channel 2.
