KLFY-TV is a CBS affiliate in Lafayette, Louisiana. The station broadcasts on digital channel 10 displayed to tuners on virtual channel 10 and is owned by Nexstar Media Group, who merged with Media General in 2018.
KLFY first took to the air in 1955 as a CBS affiliate with a secondary ABC affilation. In 1956, the station added NTA Film Network also on a secondary basis. In 1961, the station dropped NTA Film Network, then in 1962, it also dropped ABC in favor of KATC channel 3 taking to the air. The station served as the default CBS affiliate for Lake Charles since that area didn't have a CBS affiliate of their own. They now have their own self-contained CBS affiliate, KSWL-CD/channel 17.
