KIKU is an Independent station broadcasting in the Honolulu, Hawaii market on digital channel 18, displayed on tuners as virtual 20.
History
The station signed on in 1983 as KHAI-TV and picked up the KIKU calls in 1993. The KIKU calls originated at KHNL from 1967 to 1984. Most of KIKU's programming is targeted towards Honolulu's Asian community. Outside those hours it airs English-language first run shows on weekdays, featuring Divorce Court, Judge Alex, The Simpsons and The Office. In January 2022, KIKU was acquired by Allen Media Group, thus making it a sister station to KITV.
