Jabberjaw is an animated comedy that aired on ABC.
Essentially, it's a futuristic Josie and the Pussycats underwater as a rock group, the Neptunes, travel from gig to gig with their drummer mascot shark Jabberjaw, only to get mixed up in a megalomaniac's plan to take over the world. Jabberjaw's characteristics is a mix of Curley Howard of the Three Stooges and Rodney Dangerfield (his catch phrase: "I don't get no respect!")
Jabberjaw would show up twice afterwards, as a guest appearance on Scooby's All-Star Laff-a-Lympics in 1977, and as a competitor on Yogi's Space Race in 1978. The Neptunes would reappear in 2002 on Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law as the defendants in a case where the Japanese group Shoyu Weenie (the Chan Clan from The Amazing Chan and the Chan Clan) sue them for plagiarism.
