Happenings
Six Months Ago: D.L. Hawkins is being interrogated by a detective. He is being questioned about a robbery of a sports book which netted $2 million and ended with a cold-blooded murder of a guard. D.L. doesn't know anything about that, as he no longer hangs with the suspects. The detective makes a pass at D.L.'s wife, Niki. This angers D.L., and his handcuffs slide through his wrists. He attacks the detective, and is sent to prison.
In prison, D.L. tries to remember what he did to slide out of the handcuffs. He figures it out, and escapes from prison. He escapes in order to find out who framed him, and to protect Niki, and his son, Micah.
