Matt Parkman uses his mind reading powers to stop a high speed pursuit.

Happenings

Matt Parkman is shown in his last scene from Nothing to Hide, where he punches his old partner for sleeping with his wife. He starts to wonder if he can believe what he hears, because they're just thoughts. He wants to hear it from his wife's mouth, because you can't convict on just thoughts. He feels like he needs to clear his head, so he heads out on patrol, where he hears a radio alert about a white sports car getting away from a bank robbery. Matt takes off in pursuit.

He uses his mind reading power to know what the suspect is going to do before he does it, and gets a shock when the chase leads into a shopping promenade. Matt uses the thoughts of the pedestrians as guideposts for his driving, but he realizes that the suspect ahead of him can't do that. He makes the decision to take him down, and does, by ramming the suspect's car and flipping it into a fountain.
