Fred and Barney Meet the Shmoo (1979–1980) is an animated comedy / superhero action program. It was a programming block which featured rerun episodes from three unrelated shows, The New Fred and Barney Show, The Thing and The New Shmoo. Although the name would imply that the characters from different shows interacted with another, this only happened in the intro and bumpers, and not in the episodes themselves. It was the successor to Fred and Barney Meet The Thing.

The Shmoo would join Fred and Barney directly in the Bedrock Cops segment of 1980's The Flintstone Comedy Show.
