The New Fred and Barney Show (1979) is an animated comedy. It featured characters from The Flintstones in new stories. Initially, the show ran by itself, but from September 8, 1979 through December 1, 1979, it ran as part of Fred and Barney Meet The Thing and from December 8, 1979 through November 15, 1980 it ran as part of Fred and Barney Meet the Shmoo.
