Plot Overview

Carter struggles with his recovery from his drug addiction as he completes his stint in a rehab facility in Atlanta; meanwhile back in Chicago, a custodial strike affects the hospital and Mark takes care of a high school football player who was injured during his football game; he also learns that he contracted poison ivy from Corday during their vacation; later on, the ER is filled with patients injured in a riot from the high school football game; Abby is kicked out of medical school when her ex-husband, Richard fails to pay her tuition, prompting her to personally confront him about it; Romano offers Benton a lucrative position at the hospital.
