Plot Overview

Benton and Luka rush to the scene of a school shooting and the two of them get into a confrontation over which patient is more critical: a young boy with a gunshot wound to the leg or the gunman;also, Luka tries to convince an 18-year-old pregnant woman who was stabbed to allow medical treatment for her unborn child despite her wishes not to; when Abby catches Carter injecting himself with a patient's medication, she lets Mark and Weaver know about it which forces the doctors to give Carter an ultimatium: get help for his addiction or get fired; in the end, Benton is able to convince Carter to go to treatment.
