Plot Overview

The Charmed Ones bid farewell to Chris as he journeys back to his own time, with Leo accompanying him on the trip. Gideon (Gildart Jackson) and his counterpart from an evil, parallel universe mess up with the spell, resulting in Leo and Chris traveling to the evil world. As a consequence, an Evil Leo and an Evil Chris appear in the regular world.

After containing the dastardly duo, Phoebe and Paige also travel to the bizarre universe, eventually meeting with their evil twins in "Evil" Barbas' Underworld Garden. During all of this, they realize that they are too evenly matched, Piper is in labor and Gideon is the one who is after Wyatt. The women join forces to stop Gideon, who is attempting to murder Wyatt.

Once he is stopped, Phoebe and Paige return to their own world and notice that everyone is extremely chipper. Phoebe is shot by a patrol officer for not moving her car from her neighbor's driveway.

Notes

The Bizarro World

The world can be viewed in a mirror that is stored in Gideon's office at Magic School, where he has been conspiring with his evil twin for quite some time. The rules of the Bizarro World are equal and opposite of each other. Character traits and instincts remain the same but their morality differs from one another. Demons are still considered demons, but they are the essence of good in this world. The only magical beings that take on completely different "species" are whitelighters and darklighters (i.e., a whitelighter in the regular world is a darklighter in the Bizarro World).

Magic is also exposed in this world and because of the Bizarro Charmed Ones lack of morality, it is not an issue. In fact, the women take much advantage of this situation. Everyone is afraid of them and because of this "bad, bad, bad, bad world", everything is more unpleasant. Prescott Street (where the sisters live) is littered with broken down cars, dead foliage and anything that is imaginably upsetting.

Happenings

Piper's Pregnancy

  • Piper's first normal pregnancy is finally approaching its end. Unlike with her first son, Piper can finally go to a hospital to give birth without worrying about him coming into the world in a swirl of orbs. However, like her first one, she is just as much in danger and conversely, she has no family members to help her through it because they are all out trying to undo the mess caused by Gideon.

Battle in the Bizarro Underworld

  • Unlike the cavernous, dim-lit Underworld that we know of, the Bizarro Underworld is a heavenly garden. The battle between Phoebe and Paige and their evil twins was done in satisfactory manner as it conveyed their identical thought patterns and thus proving that they are too evenly matched. Despite their opposing moralities, some values remain sacred to them such as family when Bizarro Piper calls them at the end of the fight.

Characters

  • Bizarro Piper was only seen once in the entire episode when Chris and Leo cross over to the Bizarro World. Her temper is much like the regular Piper as noted by the Bizarro Gideon and later, when she screams at the Paiges during their cell phone conversation.
  • Bizarro Phoebe was powerless like her counterpart but there was not much more about her character revealed that proved to be noteworthy, except maybe her battle accessories (brass knuckles from Tiffany's).
  • Bizarro Paige had the same telekinetic orbing abilities as our Paige did, but hers were in black orbs due to darklighter genetics. Additionally, she could conjure up the speciality weapon that a darklighter possesses—the crossbow.
