I Dream of Phoebe is the fifteenth episode of the sixth season of Charmed, and the one hundred twenty-sixth episode overall.

Plot Overview

Phoebe and Chris go to the Middle East to save one of her readers from a demon named Bosk. It turns out that the reader is really a genie named Jinny, who is to obey Phoebe's commands. When Bosk comes to the Manor to retrieve Jinny, Phoebe wishes Jinny to be free in order to save the genie. However, when Phoebe does this, Jinny is freed and turns out to a demon, who then kills Bosk. She tries to get the bottle but Chris beats her to the punch and eventually, he finds out that Phoebe is the new genie of the bottle because she set Jinny free.

Meanwhile, Paige is trying to convince Richard to stop using his magic. She even summons his dead and living relatives for assistance but the attempt is futile.

Chris, who has been trying to get Phoebe's help in getting Piper and Leo to sleep together, gets his wish when Piper and Leo drop to the floor and literally sleep with each other. Through all of this, he does manage to get rid of an obstacle in his plan—Piper's date, Greg. When Jinny comes to the Manor to get the bottle, she gets trapped in a crystal cage and Richard manages to take the bottle. Chris finally tells Paige that he is Piper and Leo's second-born son, after her accusations of him being a sex offender (because of his wish for Piper and Leo to sleep together).

Paige and Chris go to Richard's place, where he is pondering how he should use his three wishes. Jinny, who has escaped from the crystal cage, tracks them down there and finally gets possession of the bottle after Richard wishes Phoebe free. Jinny wishes that the Charmed Ones to be dead and Richard reluctantly grants it.

At the manor, Leo heals Piper in her sleep as she dies, thus preventing Phoebe and Paige from moving on. Phoebe, Paige and Chris go back to the cave in the Middle East to stop Jinny from making her wish. Unfortunately, she wishes for the evil city of Zanbar to rise. Phoebe (still a ghost) possesses her, thus wishing Richard free and leaves the body so that Jinny can be sucked into the bottle. Richard wishes for the Charmed Ones to be alive again as well as for the city of Zanbar to vanish and Jinny grants them, much to her discontent.

Richard and Paige break up, though she manages to get him to drink the power stripping potion. At the manor, Phoebe tells Chris that maybe they won't need to force Piper and Leo to get together after all because of their recent experience.
