Plot Overview
A pair of bandits on motorcycles pull off several daring robberies. Ponch goes to traffic court to testify against a schlep that he cited, but the man asks for a continuance and then proceeds to follow Ponch around with a camera, determined to ruin his credibility as an officer. Jon pulls over none other than Broderick Crawford for running a stop sign and borrows his gold-plated pen to finish writing the citation...and then fails to return it! A young mother is injured in a car accident with a utility pole, but the situation gets worse when a bystander tries to save her and suffers a serious electric shock. On a lighter note, Jon and Ponch team up to enter the CHP bowling tournament, despite the fact that Ponch is a horrendously bad bowler.
