Plot Overview

Shrubbery is being stolen from the roadside as soon as it's planted, and Jon suspects that it's phony CalTran workers behind the thefts, a theory that both Ponch and plant-loving Getraer take credit for. Also, they bust two yo-yo's who turn a fight over a parking space into a road rage incident, cite a pair of twin psychics for running a stop sign, help a gas-truck driver whose rig is on fire, pull over H.R Pufnstuf for a violation, and pull over a guy who commits a diamond-lane violation and discover stolen toasters in his trunk. The twin psychics warn Ponch that four bad things will happen to him--he will get cut by a sharp object, have a nasty encounter with an authority figure, be in danger with fire and suffer a devastating romantic blow--and he doesn't believe Jon when he tells him the psychics' predictions are real.
