Plot Overview

A motorcycle riding thief recognizes Jon upon being arrested, and the young cop wracks his brain, trying to remember where he knows him from. When Jon finally remembers him as the star quarterback from their high school football team, he tries unsuccessfully to reach out to him. Jon and Ponch also deal with a circus van that's causing a traffic jam, help an old lady with a tire problem, stop a speeder with an unusual method for stopping radar and deal with another speeder whose smoking car endangers his passengers and everyone else on the highway. Ponch also tries to butter up Getraer after learning that the Sergeant knows the billboard model he's taken with, but Ponch is in for a huge surprise when he meets the model in the flesh!
