WRAZ is a FOX affiliate in Raleigh/Durham/Fayetteville, North Carolina (licensed to Raleigh). The station broadcasts on digital channel 15.3 displayed to tuners on virtual channel 50 and is owned by Capitol Broadcasting Company. Its sister station is NBC affiliate WRAL-TV channel 5. It is also Raleigh's affiliate for MeTV, which airs on virtual channel 50.2.

WRAZ first began in 1995 as the new affiliate of The WB after former WB affiliate WNCN joined the NBC network (and has since joined CBS, WRAL's former affiliation). In 1998, the station switched networks with WLFL channel 22 with that station joining The WB and WRAZ becoming a FOX affiliate.

WRAZ will sometimes air NBC programming that WRAL is unable to air due to breaking news or special programming of local interest. It also has pre-empted some FOX programming which station management deemed to be of a controversial nature, such as Temptation Island and Who Wants to Marry a Multi-Millionaire (both of which the station considered anti-family), Married by America (which WRAZ management stated was demeaning to the institution of marriage), Who's Your Daddy? (which drew negative attention from adoption rights groups and led to WRAZ refusing to air the show) and the O.J. Simpson interview special O. J. Simpson: If I Did It, Here's How It Happened (which WRAZ and a large number of other FOX affiliates refused to air due to controversy over the special - which had already been rejected by NBC prior to FOX accepting it - before the network decided to cancel it entirely). In cases where WRAZ refuses to air FOX series or specials due to controversial content, it will replace those shows with syndicated reruns of off-network shows or specials of local interest.
