WCAU is an NBC affiliate in Phildelphia, Pennsylvania operating on digital channel 28 and virtual channel 10. The station is an NBC owned-and-operated station.
WCAU began in 1948 as a CBS affiliate. When WCAU's affiliation with CBS ended in 1995, the station joined NBC. The station started digital transmissions in 2005 on RF channel 67 then moved to RF 34 as the digital spectrum restructure made 51 where it ended (it will now end at RF channel 36 when repacking ends). In 2019, WCAU moved its digital transmissions to RF channel 28 as a result of the spectrum incentive auction.
