Basic Information

Yukito is the High Priest of Clow Country, and trusted advisor to the king. He was raised in the palace alongside Touya and Sakura, and he maintains a deep relationship with King Touya.

Yukito has the ability to see spirits, and possesses some degree of magical power. He was the person who sent Syaoran and Sakura to Yūko's house in the first place.

Character History

Yukito was raised in the palace with Touya, and the two of them are at the least, best friends. Despite this familiarity, Yukito still uses titles and a formal tone of voice when talking to Touya, a fact that annoys King Touya greatly.

Yukito cares for Sakura, and knows that there is a connection between the princess and Syaoran. He is constantly cajoling Touya to be less harsh on the boy, who Touya refers to as a "brat".

When Sakura's memories were lost at the ruins outside Clow, Yukito admitted that even his powers were not enough to help her, and instead sent them to Yūko, whose resources were greater than his own.

While the two kids are gone, Yukito mostly worries after King Touya, who has not recovered from wounds incurred in The Inevitable Encounter.

Trivia

• Yukito is an alternate version of Yukito Tsukishiro from Cardcaptor Sakura. Yukito Tsukishiro is also kindly and unassuming, and has a romantic relationship with Touya Kinomoto. Yukito Tsukishiro has no overt spiritual abilities, though he does have his own magical secret.
