Tomorrow (aka The Tomorrow Show) is a late-night talk show that aired on NBC. It aired after The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson from 1AM to 2AM, as NBC wanted to add an hour of proramming to the day. It was hosted by Tom Snyder. In fall 1980, the format was retooled and focused more on entertainment, and started featuring musical guests. Rona Barrett came on as a co-host based in Hollywood, the show was expanded to 90-minutes (12:30AM to 2AM) and renamed Tonight Coast to Coast. The new format lasted just over a year when the show was cancelled as Johnny Carson gained control of the timeslot following The Tonight Show and Late Night with David Letterman premiered. Years later, when Letterman moved to CBS with Late Show with David Letterman, he was given control to his following timeslot, where he picked Snyder to host The Late Late Show.
