Plot Overview

While Negan is put to the test to become a Whisperer, Daryl and Carol go out to find Alpha's horde.

Happenings

• Rosita is one of many in Alexandria who have fallen sick from an unknown cause.

• Eugene has used parts from the downed satellite to improve the radio. He soon gets into contact with a unknown woman who does not want to disclose details about her whereabouts. After a long exchange, she wants to keep it private for now and says that if anyone answers she won't trust him and never contact him again.

• Daryl accompanies Carol as she claims to want to find the Whisperer's horde and take it out. However, they nearly get caught and Carol kidnaps one to take back for interrogation. He suspects she planned it, but she denies it.

Characters

• Negan wants to be part of the Whisperers. Beta, having almost butted heads with Alpha on it, agrees to put him through various trials that culminates in him leaving him to fend for himself against walkers. He survives and goes as far to kneel to Alpha. She reciprocates by softly hushing him.

• Siddiq's PTSD has gotten worse as it now has him fall asleep and wake up on the windmill.

• Carol has taken notice of Daryl's interactions with Connie, but he insists it's not like what she thinks.

(Beta slice a Whisperer's throat and leaves Negan with the walkers)

Negan: Wait a minute. Did you just make a goddamn joke? I would be impressed if I wasn't so pissed off right now.
