The TV IV:IVy Leagues Hall of Fame

The IVy Leagues Hall of Fame is a collection of classic shows chosen by the admins, bureaucrats and sysops of the TV IV and a the 30 top editors of this site each year during the IVy Awards season. Induction into the IVy Leagues is permanent for the life of this site, and once inducted, a show need not be voted on again and cannot be removed.

Each year, the eligible admins and editors vote on a theme. That theme can be literally anything, from genres to actors, writers, directors or creators to motifs to common threads. Within that theme, three to eight eligible shows are then proposed, voted on and inducted.

To be eligible, a show must:

• Match with the year's chosen theme AND
• Still be airing and have premiered at least 20 years prior to the cut-off date (the cut-off date of the current year's IVy Awards) OR
• No longer be airing AND
  • Have premiered at least 10 years prior to the cut-off date OR
  • Have had its finale at least five years prior to the cut-off date.
