Plot Overview
Hired by a society woman to dissuade a man from her past who's blackmailing her, Rockford winds up accused of murder when the man is killed while fighting with him. He not only makes an enemy with Lt. Diel, the detective in charge of the investigation, but also winds up over his head with the Syndicate.
