The Odd Couple is a sitcom that aired on ABC.
The series is based on Neil Simon's stage play of the same name, which had been made into a feature film in 1968. There have been two live-action attempts to remake the show: the short-lived The New Odd Couple from 1982 to 1983, and the current The Odd Couple, which premiered during the 2014-2015 season.
In addition - in 1975, an animated homage, The Oddball Couple, aired, and the 1968 movie was given a sequel three decades later, The Odd Couple II from 1998.
The show's theme music was composed by Neal Hefti and the opening was narrated by William Woodson.
