From The TV IV

The Jersey is a family series about a group of friends who find a sports jersey that allows the wearer to take the place of a sports star whenever it is used. The concept behind this show is somewhat similar to Quantum Leap, where the character jumped from body to body.

The series featured of host of celebrity athelete guest stars including Donovan McNabb, Jevon Kearse and Eddie George. The series was cancelled as per Disney's 65 episode policy, although the series technically had 66 episodes because of the pilot episode.
