When You Wish upon a Hogg is the fourteenth episode of the seventh season of The Dukes of Hazzard, and the one hundred forty-fourth episode overall.
In Hughie Hogg's latest (and as it turns out, series' final) return to Hazzard County, the corrupt young man exploits the naivety of his uncle Boss and Rosco by making him believe that a genie in a lamp – a shockingly beautiful young woman named Trixie – will grant the two eternal wealth and a way to send Bo and Luke to prison once and for all. But can the Duke boys save their adversaries from what is clearly to everyone else a fraud, or will Boss and Rosco be left with only a worthless old lamp?
Guest Stars: Jeff Altman (Hughie), Katherine Moffat (Trixie), pat Studstill (Barclay), Roger Torrey (Norris)

Allusions and References
- "One Thousand and One Nights (Arabian Nights)" – The story of Aladdin and the magic lamp, and the concept of a genie awaiting release to grant wishes is the basis of Hughie Hogg's scheme to defraud Boss out of his financial holdings and positions of power.
- "When You Wish Upon a Star" – The episode title is a play on the title of the Jiminy Cricket's signature song from the 1940 Disney film "Pinocchio."
