The Haunting of J.D. Hogg is the thirteenth episode of the seventh season of The Dukes of Hazzard, and the one hundred forty-third episode overall.
When Boss' great uncle Silas Hogg passes away, his will reveals that $100,000 must be gifted to charity at the discretion of the executor of Silas' estate – Uncle Jesse. Boss is aghast and, with help from his attorney, Mr. Larson, tries every trick in the book to have Jesse declared unfit and thus get his hands on the money ... Boss being unaware that Larson has his own devious plans to get at the fortune.

Plot Overview
The centerpiece of the episode has Bo and Luke, with help from a ventriloquist and special effects wizard named Mr. Winkle (Bill McLean) and some gadgetry to make it appear that Silas is haunting Boss from beyond the grave, so he'll give up his plans to take over as estate executor. In the end, the plan is successful.
