- E.T. the Extra Terrestrial – The episode is loosely based on a similar plot from the blockbuster science fiction movie. Similar: A friendly alien visitor to Earth, various efforts by the antagonists to capture him for different purposes, and the protagonists trying to get the alien safely home while (unsuccessfully) keeping him hidden from their adversaries and/or villains-of-the-week.
