The first "season" of The Adventures of Pete and Pete was actually a slew of one-minute shorts broadcast during commercial breaks beginning in 1989 and concluding sometime in 1990. The exact running order of the shorts or their airdates are not known, aside from the fact that "What Would You Do for a Dollar?" and "Freeze Tag" were the first two to broadcast.
Two of the 18 shorts were created uniquely for two of the VHS cassette releases and have not been seen outside of those tapes.
