From The TV IV

The Adventures of Pete & Pete (1993–1995) is a family comedy about two brothers named Pete Wrigley and the encounters they have with their friends, family and enemies. Set in the fictional "everytown" of Wellsville, the series was first established as 18 one-minute shorts broadcast between regular programs on Nickelodeon in 1989. Based on the popularity of the shorts, the characters starred in several half-hour specials between 1991 and 1993 and, eventually the full series.
