Plot Overview

The Wheelers discuss Ruby and Lurlene spending the night in jail. Then Judith tells Mark she wants to go with him to see the girls. A guard brings the girls the morning paper and Ruby realizes she was cut out of the picture. Justin calls Reena to tell her that he sent over a plane ticket for her for Dallas for tonight. Justin tells Reena tonight is the payoff on the bet she lost. Then Ashley learns that Justin is going to be in Dallas tonight. Brette tells Judith she is surprised that she likes Ruby. Mark asks Brette to give their mom a chance. Lurlene finds a picture of Ruby in the paper being arrested. Then Ruby wonders if they can pick the lock. Kate talks to Joel about Lurlene and his dad. Then Mark calls Joel and tells him that he is getting the girls out of jail. Mark and Judith arrive at the police station and Mark tells her he isn't ready to settle down yet. Then officer Malloy tells them bail has been set. Grant tells Reena it doesn't look like Marshall Oil is going out of business. Brette asks George not to mention any of the commotion in his article. George tells Brette about his meeting Judith and that he would like to take a picture of the whole family. Brette tells George her parents are getting a divorce. Reena tells Grant that Judith makes her angry. Grant tells Reena that Judith is moving out tomorrow but Reena tells Grant she is fed up. Ruby complains to Lurlene about Reena Dekker and then realizes that today is the day for Dallas. Mark and Judith arrive and the guard lets the girls out. Judith privately mentions to Ruby about Reena and the bet. Ruby tells Judith that this whole things was a huge misunderstanding and then attempts to explain about Beau. Judith suggests they hurray and get Reena's signature. Vivien tells John she thinks something is behind Judith being friends with Ruby. Ruby and Lurlene arrive home to Kate and Joel. Brette introduces Mark to George. Mark tells Brette he is hoping the charges will be dropped. Kate asks Ruby to get out of Lurlene’s life. Lurlene and Joel talk about missing each other last night and Joel tells her how special she is. When Reena leaves her office Ruby enters to get a sample of Reena's signature. Ashley asks Justin to postpone Dallas but he says he can't. Then Ashley tells Justin that the adoption has come through today. Reena finds Ruby in her office.
