Plot Overview

T.J. tells Justin the stocks have stopped dropping for the moment. At the press conference an officer arrests Ruby and Lurlene. The officer handcuffs the girls and takes them away. Eventually everyone clears out leaving Joel alone. Niota and Billy Joe talk about how they are more important than their careers. At the police station the girls are charged with complicity and concealment of evidence concerning the death of Beau Baker. Then Mark arrives and learns the girls must be booked before bail can be set. Reena tells Grant there is heavy buying of stock in Hannibal's companies and she is sure it means that Marshall Oil is going down. Rikki gets Joel and then Elena learns of the arrests and offers to take Joel to the police station. The girls are fingerprinted and mug shots are taken. Billy Joe and Nita decide not to travel so much. Justin thanks T.J. for all his help and his loyalty. In jail, Ruby tries to calm Lurlene. Then Kate arrives and blames Ruby for the mess they are in. Kate comforts Lurlene and brings a bible for Ruby. Nita tells Paige that Billy Joe is still blaming himself and Paige offers to talk to him. Hawker and Boots tell Justin, Ashley and T.J. that Marshall Oil will be OK. Judith sees Reena and accuses her of being involved with Hannibal. Kate tells Lurlene that Ruby is the cause of all her troubles. Lurlene asks Kate to take care of Joel. Ruby tells Kate she is going to start the bible right now. Billy Joe tells Paige that the baby will be out of the hospital soon. T.J. tells Ashley that she and Justin can adopt Gregory tomorrow. Justin tells Reena that Marshall Oil is going to be fine. T.J. tells Paige that Marshall Oil has been saved. Joel comforts Lurlene while Ruby tells Elena to stay away from Mark. Justin shows Reena the stock report and leaves telling her that he will see her in Dallas tomorrow.
