Plot Overview

As the Marshalls celebrate at the Spindle Top, Grant and Reena arrive. Rikki, Brette, Mark and Ruby celebrate their plan working out. Mason calls Hannibal to tell him that Addams had a run-in with his knife and Joel is next. With everyone at the Loretta Lynn concert, Lurlene tells Elena and Joel that she is going to close the Coop early. Reena and Grant wonder what the Marshalls are celebrating. Justin toasts to Marshall Oil and to the family. Hannibal tells Crenshaw it is time he meets Ruby face to face. Mark tells Ruby she isn't keeping the $100,000. Ashley tells Paige that Reena knows about her engagement to T.J. Mark and Ruby decide to go to the Spindle Top and Brette and Rikki take the money. Lurlene gets a call from Ruby telling her everything worked out fine and is going to the Spindle Top with Mark. Then Elena leaves for the night and Lurlene goes into the office. Reena is nice to Ashley and Paige. Grant tells Reena that Judith will be out in 2 weeks. Back at Rikki's, he and Brette kiss and dance. Lurlene tells Joel she is going to deposit the money at the bank and then she will be right back. When Lurlene leaves, Mason locks the door to the Coop. Mark and Ruby arrive at the Spindle Top and join Grant and Reena. Ruby stops by the Marshall table to thank them for their kindness with Billy Joe Jr. Then Reena goes to the powder room and Ruby follows. Hannibal says hello to Reena in the hall but she tells Ruby she doesn't know who he is. Mason tries to strangle Joel but Joel gets away and hits the fuse box so that the Coop is dark. Ruby and Reena exchange words in the powder room. Rikki and Brette share a romantic time. Ashley excuses herself to go call Gregory while Grant and Reena dance. Ruby tells Mark that she and Reena finally understand each other. Then Grant dances with Ruby and Justin tells Reena that they need to talk about their meeting in Dallas. Ashley asks Hannibal what is happening with his companies but he tells her they are simply expanding. Reena tells Justin there will be no meeting in Dallas because she will win the bet and adds that Hannibal is her ace in the hole. Mason finds a flashlight and then Joel and Mason struggle and Mason is knocked out. Lurlene finds Joel and unconscious Mason and Joel tells her to call the police.
