Plot Overview

Judith calls Ruby and asks to meet with her. T.J. tells Justin that Hannibal's companies are in big financial trouble. Reena decides that 2 ½ weeks is still enough time to win the bet but Mark tells Reena that Marshall Oil is in good shape. Mark tells Reena it isn't likely for a company like Marshall Oil to go under in 2 ½ weeks unless they have a problem meeting their loans. Mark also tells Reena that he has never heard of a man named Hannibal. Vivien opens the door to George St. John and he thanks Brette for getting him in to see Vicky. George then asks to be introduced to Reena. T.J. tells Justin that if Hannibal's companies fail, Marshall Oil will come down. But T.J. advises Justin not to touch Ashley's money at this point. Grant talks to Reena and then she calls Striker. Adams tells Hannibal that Crenshaw has his instructions and Mason is taking care of Joel Walker. Then Hannibal makes sure Adams will be taken care of. Mark and Brette arrive and give Ruby the piece of the Fire Compass. Everyone takes their positions and Lurlene and Joel wish Ruby well. Justin and T.J. tell Ashley about the bad shape Hannibal's companies are in and Justin wants to talk to Hannibal. Ruby visits Judith and learns that Reena and Justin were close at one time. Judith asks Ruby to leave a note from Reena inviting Grant to join her in Dallas. George meets Reena and asks to set up a photo session with her. He also tells Reena that he wants to feature the Wheelers in the article. Joel reminds Lurlene of how special she is and tells her not to worry so much. Adams gives Crenshaw the money and then when Crenshaw leaves, Mason kills Adams. Vivien tells John that something is up with Judith. Striker tells Reena he doesn't know Hannibal but what he has heard of him is bad news. Striker suggests that Reena talk to Hawker and Boots. Ruby meets with Crenshaw and tells him that a piece of the Fire Compass is all he gets for the $100,000. Justin tells Ashley they are having a party at the Spindle Top to show everyone that everything is OK. Reena tells Grant that she is meeting Hawker and Boots tomorrow. Ruby tells Crenshaw she wants to deal with the big boss as Hannibal watches. Then Crenshaw tells Ruby that the boss will be in touch. Lurlene and Joel leave for the Coop with Mason posing as the security guard.
