Feel free to change titles

Some of these probably have stupid titles, I know. If you can come up with something better, let's discuss it here, or go ahead and change it.

I'm changing the title of Lynn Echolls's Suicide and moving it because 1) when a word ends in S it only receives the apostrophe, not the addition S and 2) browsers don't handle apostrophes very well anyways. I'll be moving it to Lynn Echolls Suicide and requesting a delete of Lynn Echolls's Suicide. --MateoP 14:08, 23 Sep 2005 (EDT)
Actually, when a singular word ends in s, it is still followed by an 's. The single apostrophe rule only goes into effect when it is more than one person or a collective group being talked about. So, it'd be something like "the dress's pink color," and "the dresses' pink colors." That's why I changed it. An URL is an URL, so we shouldn't discriminate between whether or not the URL looks cleans or not. For a friendly compromise, I'll change the title (but not the actual URL) to "The Lynn Echolls Suicide," similar to hwo I changed the Lilly Kane one to "The Lilly Kane Murder." :) --Wizardryo 01:21, 24 Sep 2005 (EDT)

Spoiler comment

I don't really think we need one since it should be fairly obvious that you shouldn't click on it unless you already know or want to know the answer. If one page has a spoiler comment, then every page should have a spoiler comment because that's basically what this Wiki is. --Wizardryo 02:17, 23 Sep 2005 (EDT)

I had previously placed a spoiler warning on the link on the main Veronica Mars page. That should tell people that everything on this page (and the pages it links to) are of spoiler variety. --MateoP 14:22, 23 Sep 2005 (EDT)

Felix's Death

I changed the title of this mystery from "Felix's Murder and Logan's Involvement" to simple "Felix's Murder". At first I had changed it to "Felix's Death" because we do not yet know if his death was through murder, accident, suicide, etc. But I decided that the story is being driven as a murder, and even if it turns out to be something other than murder, it's still a murder mystery. Veronica's Rape, for example, turned out not to be a rape, but because it was billed as that the entire season, people probably will recognize it better by that title.

I removed Logan's Involvement from the title because it is unnecessary. The mystery is the death of Felix, and of course Logan's involvement is included in that. It's possible that Logan's involvement could be explained early on in the season, we do not know if his involvement will continue to be a major part of the story or not. He's a part of Felix's death but it's not really "the mystery" is it? We can change later if it seems necessary, speak your mind. --MateoP 23:24, 29 Sep 2005 (EDT)

Mystery of the Weeks

For the sake of completeness, I attempted to compile a list of the Mystery of the Weeks on the page, but these episode titles really do not help at all with regards to helping me remember which episode had which episode. For example, I can't remember which episode had the Mac/Madison mystery. So, if anyone can help me out with those, it'd be greatly appreciated. I don't think the Mysteries have any sort of official name, so feel free to go with what you think sounds good; we'll edit them as a consensus if necessary. --Wizardryo 00:59, 15 Oct 2005 (EDT)

And, also, if anyone wants to link them to the proper episode pages, that'd also be appreciated. --Wizardryo 01:01, 15 Oct 2005 (EDT)

The "Mac's adoption" storyline was in the episode Veronica Mars/Silence of the Lamb. Also, not to be a grammar Nazi, but if you're going to create a separate section, then the correct plural is "Mysteries Of The Week." --ReverendDave 01:48, 15 Oct 2005 (EDT)

What's the point in this? The information about these mysteries are already given in the episode summaries... isn't this just being redundant? --MateoP 15:51, 15 Oct 2005 (EDT)

A bit late to the party, but I guess I see the point of including them here is that it's a nice reference to the various mysteries. As Wizardryo pointed out, some of the episode titles don't give a great clue as to what the Mystery of the Week was, but we can give them more meaningful names in this section. Perhaps the list can link to the actual episode synopsis. What do people think? --IrlZaphod 11:44, 11 April 2006 (EDT)
That was my original intention-- to link to the episodes at hand. Since Veronica Mars isn't anything without its mysteries, it's a handy reference guide if you know what X mystery you want to look for but don't know which episode it's in; see my aforementioned example about Mac's adoption. --Wizardryo\talk 03:05, 13 June 2006 (EDT)
Also late to the party, but I finally went ahead and linked all the episode numbers to the episode they correspond to, hopefully this will help people when they don't know what mystery went with what episode. Rvb strongbad 01:53, 30 November 2006 (EST)
