The Sunday morning talk shows are talk shows in America which feature discussions between journalists and public figures—usually politicians and government officials—so-called because they air on Sunday mornings. Unlike most talk shows, the Sunday morning talk shows never have studio audiences, because they are news-based. Many of the most important comments, quotes and statements made by politicians over the latter half of the 20th century have been made on the Sunday morning talk shows. Notable examples include Meet the Press and Face the Nation.
